It was such a relief to have the refreshments handled for us so we could focus on the program itself. It was seamless. The setup was very polished and professional.   • Kat was absolutely incredible at a recent party I threw. Not only is she able to customize the cups and the cart itself to the party theme, but she is an incredible and highly-trained barista and uses only the best of coffee beans, such as Metric. This made for an amazing night with multiple rounds of coffee. She is able to customize menus to your preferences, and so we had the classic espresso menu but also key lattes and tea-based lattes based off of the party theme and our favorites. Every single drink delivered and hit the mark. Would highly recommend Kat for anyone’s party or event but especially anyone serious about coffee and quality drinks.

All of the attendees were so pleased with Kat and her mobile bar! She made all drinks to order and kept us all pleasantly caffeinated. Her menu is simple, but never overwhelming. Her set up is aesthetically so pleasing! Kat has my full recommendation for upcoming events and weddings for our group and we cannot wait to have her back in some capacity. Such a joy! Founded by Kat Briones in 2023, Back to the Grind was born from over 15 years of hospitality experience at Chicago's finest venues. She saw an opportunity to bring craft coffee service right to an event and serve handcrafted drinks on-site. Today, we operate three mobile coffee carts serving corporate clients like Firefox, Webtoons, and RYZE, alongside school functions and private celebrations across Chicago. Our signature approach: no tip jars, hand-to-guest service, and menus designed to welcome everyone.
